A personal reading of Carroll’s two Alices ( “in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass”) in which dreams and “sense of humour” are the main characters of the play. The scenography, costumes and music are both striking and faithful to the author’s intention. With a coreography as surrealist as both Alices, the dancers translate, by using their bodies, emotions and situations of the play, by means of a totally contemporary aesthetics, and a refined and high-quality coreographical technique. Premiered on April 9th, 2005, at the Gran Teatre Antonio Ferrandis in Paterna (Valencia). Co-production of ANANDA DANSA with the Centro Coreográfico of Teatres de la Generalitat Valenciana (National Theatre of the Region of Valencia), Gran Teatre Antonio Ferrandis and Concha Busto.
